‘Solace’ is an autobiographical comic about my time in our laundry room at university and the odd sock pile that lived there. Doing your washing can be comforting.
They were printed on a Risograph (by me) and hand bound so they’re all a little different and imperfect but equally beautiful. If you’re not familiar with Riso printing, the different ink colours are layered with multiple passes through the machine, so there may be some misalignment, but that’s the magic of Riso printing!
